Bruno started out as a labourer at an insulation company and figured out pretty quickly he had a feel for it. A few months in he was running rings around his boss, so he set up Young Dragons — working direct for homeowners and as a subcontractor for builders.
In 2022 we won a six-month government job at the National Gallery of Victoria, stripping out the old ceiling soffits and installing new Kingspan soffit boards.
The whole NGV job ran in hazmat suits, around live machinery, directly above roughly $200,000 worth of Picasso artworks. Not your average insulation site.
These days we cover ceiling, wall and underfloor insulation, ceiling insulation removal, pipe lagging, and under-slab soffit boards across Melbourne.
